FUN AND GAMES New gaming machines for car racing aficionados

Amoeba, on Church Street has set up new gaming machines for car racing aficionados. The game is Battle Gear 4, an arcade racing game by Taito Corporation Japan, now brought to India by Amoeba, for the first time in India.

The Battle Gear series has the typical controls a top-line car has, that includes gas and brake pedals, a steering wheel, floor shift gear and handbrake. There are five options of game play in Battle Gear 4 Tuned, and many, many options of cars like the Mercedes, Honda, Ferrari and even the Suzuki among others! Event races include Race Mode, Drift Mode, One Make Race and Time Attack are some of the game options.

The game displays the result to a keyless player and the additional title and awarded BG (battle gold, the virtual dollars in the game) to the player using a key. Players can purchase upgrades for the engine, mufflers, transmission, suspension, tires and aerodynamic parts. Depending on the car model engine swaps are possible.

The online version of Battle Gear 4 has 21 tracks available to the players. Cars are divided into 5 classes, class S, A, B, C, D. The large LCD screen has the most amazing scenic visuals to race along, has hair pin bends, dips and highs to manoeuvre. The actual foreign locales of mountains, and challenging roads, can be quite incredible on the Battlegear 4 cars, only at Amoeba, being introduced for the first time.
