Dances of Manipur

The Sangeetha Natak Akademi, New Delhi and Kerala Fine Arts Society, Kochi, will present ‘Dances of Manipur,’ by the Jawaharlal Nehru Dance Academy, Imphal, at the Kerala Fine Arts Society, Kochi, on February 23 and 24 at 6.30 p.m.

Nat-Sankirtan, a composite version of music, dance and tala, Maharas, the most significant and elaborate of the five Rass Leelas performed in Manipur, Nupi Pala and Sangai, a dance drama, will be performed.
