Studies have found that hair is the best reflection of an individual’s personality and mood



LOOK GREAT, FEEL GOOD With styled tresses

Hair plays a crucial role in every girl’s life; it makes them feel complete and confident. According to a survey, most girls throughout the world – a whopping 97 per cent, in fact – admit that how their hair looks affects how they f eel about themselves.

Over two-thirds of all girls surveyed (66 per cent in India) felt that hair is the best reflection of their personality – the physical expression of who they are. “Even hair experts feel there is an intimate connection between hair and confidence levels. Javed Habib, for instance, says, “Bad hair can make you lose confidence and peace of mind. It is the easiest way to get a complex. When you are unhappy with your hair, you are not truly yourself. Therefore, it’s important to get your hair right, in order to avoid developing a complex about your looks.”

Asserting that ‘Life is ruled by hair’, Bollywood actor and Sunsilk brand ambassador, Priyanka Chopra says, “Hair plays a crucial role in our life. You can use it to transform the way you look and feel. It can also aid you to make a fashion statement. However, if you don’t pay much attention to your hair, you will end up getting a complex.”

Break-ups

Bad hair days are common in the lives of the fairer sex! Such days can have a catastrophic impact on the lives of girls. If you don’t believe this, sample the findings of the recent survey conducted by a hair care brand…Did you know that 22 per cent of Indian girls, as compared to 32 per cent of their global counterparts are most likely to ruin their date on a bad hair day? And many of them could actually break-up with their partners on such days! The survey found that on bad hair days, 33 per cent of Indian girls admitted that they would prefer to stay at home!

Is there a connection between hair and flirting? Well, research seems to suggest that nine out of ten girls admit to flirting more when their hair looks good. According to the survey conducted by a haircare brand, nearly 70 per cent of girls surveyed across six countries (61 per cent in India) agreed that the minute their hair is done they want to go out there and make the most of it.”
