EXHIBITION Gurjari is organising an exhibition cum sale of handicrafts and handloom from the state

The Gujarat State Handloom and Handicrafts Development Corporation Ltd., a Government of Gujarat undertaking has helped in the revival, development and identification of handloom and handicrafts of Gujarat.
Thousands of artisans and weavers, from remote areas of Gujarat, are covered under its various schemes of training and design development.
The corporation has reopened its showroom in Chennai at the Co-optex exhibition ground, 350, Pantheon Road, Egmore, Chennai 8.
The Chennai branch of Gurjari is organising an exhibition cum sale at Vimonisha Art Gallery, No. 12, Khadar Nawaz Khan Road, Nungambakkam, Chennai 6 up to March 4, including Sundays between 10:30 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.
In this mela, tribal artisans from Gujarat will demonstrate their skills and exhibit rich and traditional handicrafts and handlooms such as Sankheda furniture, jute furniture, dress material, cotton sarees, tie and die silk and cotton sarees, unstitched suit pieces and other artistic items.
