Nayan races ahead, Jayaraj too in Kollywood

Nayanthara is racing ahead of other heroines in Kollywood to the number one slot. Her “Yaaradi Nee Mohini” is ready for release.

“Sathyam” with Vishal will be her big summer release and she will start work on “Kuselan”, with Rajnikant, by mid-March. And now she has signed up for “Aegan”, Ayngaran International’s new film to be directed by ace choreographer Raju Sundaram.

Ajit and Nayanthara as a team clicked in “Billa”, and now they come together as a romantic pair for the first time.

“Aegan” will have music by Yuvan Shankar Raja and the cast also has Suhasini Maniratnam, Jayaram, Navdeep Suman and Nassar. She has become slimmer and swelte now.

Jayaraj enters Kollywood

Director Jayaraj is making his debut in Tamil with “Sila Naerangalil”, a murder mystery set in two different eras, the Sixties and the present time. The film marks the launch of Vincent Asokan as hero with Navya Nair, Vineeth, Raghuvaran and Sriman in supporting roles. The film, edited by Sreekar Prasad, carries a “U” certificate. Srikanth Deva’s music is one of the highlights of the film. Vairamuthu has penned the lyrics. Veteran singer P. Suseela has rendered a song with T.M. Soundarajan’s son TMS Balraj. There is also a peppy number by Suchitra. “Sila Naerangalil” is produced by four techies based in the U.S., and distributed by Pyramid Saimira.
