Concert by Unnikrishnan

A Carnatic vocal concert by P. Unnikrishnan will be held on March 3


A Carnatic vocal concert by P. Unnikrishnan will be held under the aegis of the Bank Employees Arts Movement Ernakulam (BEAME) at the Kerala Fine Arts Hall, Kochi, on March 3 at 6.15 p.m. Unnikrishnan will be accompanied for the concert on the violin by T. H. Subramaniam, on the mridangam by Trichur Narendran and on the ghatom by Elanjimmel Sushilkumar.

Disciple of Dr. S. Ramanathan, Unnikrishnan has carved a niche for himself in Carnatic and film music. Winner of the Kalaimamani award, instituted by the Tamil Nadu government, Unnikrishnan has sung in more than 200 films in various Indian languages.
