BBC World takes a look inside China throughout March with a themed series of news reports, documentary and factual programmes exploring one of the world’s most dynamic countries. The season will examine the impact of China’s headlong rush
for economic growth and mark the upcoming Beijing 2008 Olympic Games.
“Looking For China Girl” which will air on March 1 at 8.10 a.m., 2.10 p.m. and 8.10 p.m. and on March 2 at 1.10 a.m., 8.10 a.m. and 8.10 p.m. follows the stories of an independent woman; and a local police unit fighting a spate of wife kidnappings.
