FOUR FRAMES
Tabu sizzles
Telugu director Chandra Siddardh, who has made offbeat films such as “Aa Naluguru” and “Appudappudu”, is back with “Idhee Sangati”, which is adapted from a novel “Mera Bharat Mahan” written by K N Y Pat
anjali. The highlight of “Idhee Sangati” is the appearance of one of the finest actors in India, Tabu, in the heroine’s role. The film takes a satirical look at the system and exposes the rot that has set in it. Recently, Tabu had a lot to cheer about when she won her sixth Filmfare award for her performance in “Cheeni Kum”. Says Tabu: “I am really excited about being part of ‘Idhee Sangathi’. The character I play is close to my heart. I have a strong feeling that this is going to be one of the most memorable performances of my career. Popular Telugu television anchor Jhansi has dubbed for me.”
