Apart from meeting the various shopping needs of customers, Westside is all set to woo kids through its fun-filled programme, KidsWest. After receiving a “good response” in Mumbai last year, the chain of stores from the house of the Tatas
, Westside recently introduced KidsWest to Delhi.
Terming it as “a hangout hub for all-rounders,” Westside, through the programme, targets kids between the age group of 6 and 12 . According to the company, KidsWest is a special programme designed for kids with the mantra — ‘learning to play and playing to learn’.
One got to see a glimpse of it at the recent launch of the Westside store in Gurgaon. It was a fun filled hour for kids, with no rules and no grown ups! It featured an exciting star performance by an international artist, Flubber the clown. Through his action-packed, funny performance, Flubber made the kids laugh and giggle. He also entertained them through activities like jugglery, clowning, mime and magic. Kidswest has been organising workshops with themes like ‘learning magic’, and ‘wealth of waste’. Through these workshops, kids get “exciting opportunities” to learn skills like animation, story-writing and magic, etc. Such programs have also been launched in its Lajpat Nagar and Noida stores.
