An education channel has been launched

Greycells18 Media Pvt. Ltd. has launched a curriculum-based education TV channel in English called Topper, which will initially cater to classes IX to XII.

Based on curriculum

It will provide validated curriculum-based content that will comply with CBSE and other related state boards, covering Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

The channel which will be accessible to viewers through digital television and the Internet, will be a free-to-preview 24 hours television channel available on DTH platforms such as Tata Sky and Dish TV. It can be viewed on channel 570 on Tata Sky and on channel 097 on Dish TV respectively.

The channel will telecast six fresh episodes daily, with four episodes based on the regular course and two episodes on the exam specials (pertaining to the upcoming board exams).

All fresh episodes will have four repeat telecasts over the week.

The modules complement existing tools of traditional classroom teaching and have the technological help to deal with concepts that are difficult to explain theoretically.Visit www.topperlearning.com, the web portal which has been designed to corroborate lessons done on television which can enable students to access additional study material on the site and also take tests online.

Performance record

A performance record of each student is maintained to check progress. The portal also offers an interactive facility, whereby students have access to a panel of experts who will answer their queries online. The portal will also host forums and groups, where like-minded students can connect, to discuss issues relevant to their subjects.
