Gujarat expo
A range of handicrafts and colourful handlooms are on display at the ongoing Gujarat Handlooms and Handicrafts Exhibition at Maharashtra Mandal. Handicrafts products ranging from rich embroidery of Kutch, Banki and remote villages of the region are t
here at the expo. Traditional block print materials, a number of salwar suits, jackets, sarees, bedcovers and cushion covers are on display here. Applique work done by craftsmen of Kutch and other items like jewellery, colourful bags and torans and wall-hangings of Sourashtra have been included in the expo. Metal engravings on aluminium and brass sheet metal from Ahmedabad, and a range of wooden articles are some of the other items on display here. The exhibition is on till March 16 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
