By women, for women The sales mela by members of Vanitha Vibhag

Vanitha Vibhag of the Kerala Bhramana Sabha celebrated International Women’s Day in style on March 7 and 8.

A sales mela by the members had home-made eats, hand paintings and embroidered items to name a few.

Rugmini Gopalakrishnan and Mangalam Ramasamy were honoured at the event. A Pancharatna keerthana had various musicians paying tribute to Tyagaraja.

An interactive session had the audience animatedly discussing women’s rights.

The event saw women from all walks of life attending the programmes.
