Brand ambassador

Kollywood glamour and cricket in its latest Twenty-20 format come together for the first time in the city. Popular stars Vijay and Nayanthara will endorse the IPL’s Chennai Super Kings, sponsored by India Cements. Vijay says he’s been cra zy about cricket from his college days and watches all one-day matches. “My son Sanjay loves watching these matches on television; he is a fan of M.S. Dhoni . I’m just waiting to meet him as his captaincy has impressed me a lot,” adds Vijay. Vijay and Nayanthara will do the promos for Chennai Super Kings — they will appear on hoardings, television ads and turn up at the matches (played in Chennai, Mohali, Kolkata and Mumbai) to cheer Dhoni and his team.
