Easter goodies!
For the first time, four Tamil films were released on Good Friday (March 21) which marked the start of the Easter weekend. They were all small movies, releasing before the summer rush commencing in April. After “Aei Nee Romba Azhaga Irukke” and “ABCD”, Sneha pairs up with Shaam in “Inba”, directed by newcomer Vendhan. The film also has a new music director — C. B. Balaji. It is a love story between an auto driver and a college-going girl. The second film, “Kannum Kannum” features Prasanna and new face Udayathara in the lead. Directed by G. Marimuthu, it is also a love story. The music is by Dheena and Vadivel provides the comedy. In the third film, “Sanda”, Sundar. C plays a ruffian, who is constantly at loggerheads with his mother-in-law (Nadia Moidu). Directed by Sakthi Chidambaram, the film has Ragini (Kushboo’s niece) playing the heroine. The fourth film scheduled for release this weekend is director A.Venkatesh’s “Singakutty”. Sivaji junior, grandson of legendary actor Sivaji Ganesan, makes his debut as hero. Gowri Munjal plays the heroine. Bollywood music director, Prasanna Sekhar, makes his debut in Tamil.
