Art Karat, retailer for semi-precious jewellery, has come up with “Rajwada — the Royal Collection”, inspired by the Mughal era. The collection is on display at Art Karat, Ispahani Center, Nungambakkam High Road, till March 24. The c
ollection has been designed by renowned jewellery designer Asha Kamal Modi.
The Rajwada range was conceptualised with an idea that every woman deserves to be adorned like a princess. With over 2,000 pieces on display, the collection spells richness and grandeur and makes the wearer feel like royalty.
As it is handcrafted in pure silver and set with gemstones such as tourmaline, emeralds, rubies and kundan, these masterpieces are accessible to a larger audience who wish to own a piece of history.
The collection comprises necklaces (stalaras, haslis, gulubands, aaris and patrihaars), earrings (jhumkas, balis and karn phools), bangles (pachelis, glassi and sutarlas) and other accessories such as baju bandhs, borlas, kalgis and payals.
The show is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
