As busy as bee A plethora of events kept the fairer sex entertained

The days just gone by give ample reason to denizens to look forward to eventful time ahead. Deviating from monotonous lifestyle, city-dwellers finally seem to be learning to celebrate small delights. Adding to their enthusiasm, exciting events unfold ing at regular interval exude a fond hope of finding out ways to shun boredom.

Just the other day, gloriously soused in the wide acclaim that came her way in Telugu film industry, actor Bhoomika descended on a star hotel to inaugurate a garments’ showroom. The petite beauty from the north knows how to keep her fan following intact. Breezing into the city for functions, she makes it a point to mention the ‘special bond’ she shares with locals. Her ubercool attitude as far as appeasing fans with her quiet charm is concerned, adds a dash of magic to her persona.

Sporting a retro look to the pleasant surprise of her fans, she draped her slender figure in a rich silk sari, braided tresses in a long plait which had a large flower tucked on one side to complete the retro style and walked in gracefully waving at the crowd.

Watching her strut across the ramp along with a bunch of models in an evening function was a real treat.

Television anchor Suma did her bit to regale women, mostly housewives, by prodding them to rejoice their womanhood. Just when the revellers thought the party was over, Hotel Fortune Murali Park decided to prolong the celebrations by throwing an invitation to the go-getters to prove their mettle in an all-women’s car rally. Though belated, the event, which spilled over to a loud partying in the evening, gave the fairer sex an apt occasion to let their hair down and chill out.

The mood was translucent, reflective and illuminated as faces around were aglow, soaking in the defining moments.
