‘Real’ is realizable easily unlike intangible goodwill. So real estate is for real as well as speculative with skyrocketing prices.

Elders used to say “Fools build houses and the wise live in it” and “If you wish to own a house do it after 40”. That is passé now; young men are first looking to own a house/apartment before searching for a life partner. It is safer vis-À-vis moveable property.

It is wiser to buy land in the sprawling cities/townships. You never know when a new airport, SEZ, university or laboratory will be set up near your property.

The economy is growing and purchasing power is on the rise. There are more needs to be met with in healthcare, education, transport, shops and industries. For this you need more land.

Towns are turning into cities and cities into metropolises. Villages look like townships already. Money procreates via selling/buying, not by lying idle in bank deposit.
