A terminal for omnibuses at Mattuthavani - Voice your views

Periyar bus stand is in the heart of the city from where almost all omnibuses operate in and out.

It is very difficult to operate city buses within the small area. While all buses are not permitted within city limits, how can omnibuses alone be permitted. Further, Ellis Nagar railway over bridge road is yet to be extended beyond the Periyar bus stand. Hence, it is best to shift the omnibuses to Mattuthavani.
