New education tools
The right introduction to education plays the most important role in building the right future for a child. Often we see a child rattling off nursery rhymes without knowing what it means. The education given is rarely knowledge based. Children are fed the same lessons over and over again. Everything is literally poured so heavily down their throat that school becomes a nightmare for them.
Nav Bharat Publications, Chennai, has been working on making school a “happy place” with “happy faces” for years now. Known to publish school books, reading materials, school educational requisites, science lab equipment, sports goods and AV teaching aids, the company has now launched a new product called “Bambino Express”. It includes three books, a visual and audio cd and craft materials.
The books are self contained with a complete working kit of materials like plasticine clay, crayon box, coloured sand, beads and string etc., which are used in reference to learning items in the book and are profusely illustrated containing teacher’s notes on every page. The schools using these series are also provided with an interactive CD – fully animated version of the books that double up as a teacher’s guide as well. The programme is activity oriented with exercises like rhymes and songs, drama, riddles, handwriting, word building, drawing, puzzles and crafts.
