Renowned playback singers will participate in the concert
|
Eenam, a cultural organisation of non-resident Keralites, in association with Swaralaya, organise a musical evening in connection with a function to felicitate music director M. Jayachandran. Playback singer K.J. Yesudas will give away the Eenam Award for the best music director, instituted by Eenam, to Jayachandran.
The function will be held at Coop Bank Tower at 5.45 p.m. on March 30. Additional Chief Secretary K. Jayakumar will inaugurate the function.
The award function will be followed by a concert of ghazals. Sarang artiste Faiyaz Khan will accompany Jayachandran in rendering ghazals. Playback singers Chitra Iyer, Gayathri, Manjeri, Afasl and Sudheep Kumar will also participate in the programme.
