Kids’ day out

Storytrails organises theme trips for children

Summer holidays are here again. How about a day in a village and trying a hand at farming, a walk on the wild side, discovering the movie-making process or camping out amongst trees and playing games with friends?

Storytrails is organising a set of enjoyable trails for children — cinema trail, bazaar trail, forest trail, village trail and camp-out.

At the forest trail on April 15 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.) an expert will uncover Nature’s secrets. Registration limited to 15 children (aged between 6 and 12). The fee is Rs. 295.

At the bazaar trail, children will be taken to a vegetable market, allowed to interact with the people there and discover the stories behind the journey of the vegetables into homes. On April 17 (9 a.m. to 11 a.m.). Limited to 15 children (in the 6 to 12 age group) and the fee is Rs. 295.

Culinary trail on April 19 (10 a.m. to 12 noon) and the fee is Rs. 395. Fifteen children (aged between 6 and 12) will get to don an apron and play a chef for a day.

Films fascinate kids and through cinema trail they can get to know the process of film-making. On April 21 (10 a.m. to 12 noon), fee Rs. 295 and limited to 15 children (in the 8 to 12 age group).

Village trail, a trip to the countryside, will be on April 25 (7.30 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and is limited to 20 children (aged between 8 and 12). The fee is Rs. 795.

The Storytrails camp-out will be organised on April 23 (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) Registration limited to 20 children (aged between 8 and 12) and the fee is Rs. 795.
