WORKSHOP On Intercultural Philosophy on April 5 and 6

The Hayagriva Study Circle presents a week-end workshop on Intercultural Philosophy by Dr. Anand Amaladass, Professor and Director, Satya Nilayam Research Institute for Philosophy and Sanskrit, Satya Nilayam, 201, Lattice Bridge Road, Tiruvanmiyur.
Today several issues such as cloning, human rights, ecology, globalisation, national identity and intercultural dialogue are being discussed in the media by economists, sociologists, journalists, legal experts and others. But the perspective of the philosopher is missing. Hence, the workshop which will provide an opportunity for participants to reflect on such questions inter-culturally. The workshop will be held on April 5 and 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Satya Nilayam.
