This piece of news is for those who are too lazy to visit a movie hall. Or for the extremely busy ones who don’t mind watching a movie during free time on weekends but is too drained to venture out for it. Online movie rental company Movie Mart has just launched its only DVD selling facility. The company boasts of displaying its entire film inventory of old and new films in its website, www.moviemart.in besides partnering with a logistics company for quick delivery of DVDs at your door.
Movie Mart Chief Executive Officer Rahul Mansharmani says, “We are the country’s first online DVD rental service provider. It makes me happy to say that we are now ready to sell them online too.” Currently, Mansharmani claims, it delivers DVDs to an average of 2000 customers on a daily basis. “The company expects about one million subscribers all over India in the coming months,” he states. Movie Mart also supplies DVDs to customers outside India including Fiji and Caribbean islands. He says the company has used latest technologies to make browsing and navigation user-friendly. “Customers will be encouraged to send in their feedback so that we can serve them better,” he adds.
