It is high time that omnibuses were shifted to a location, adjacent to Mattuthavani bus stand, where most of the mofussil and city buses arrive and depart. Certainly, it will provide a great relief to passengers to conveniently locate their buses. It will also help to ease the traffic in the shopping complex bus stand area, where the omnibuses add to the congestion and confusion. The authorities should provide basic amenities to passengers, such as proper toilet, drinking water facility etc. They should also take steps to regulate fares which are hiked enormously during vacations and festive seasons.
