Tween friends

India is fast turning out to be a destination for Hollywood films. These days Disney Channel is shooting The Cheetah Girls One World, in Udaipur. To be shot completely in the Indian setting, the musical sequel continues the story o f best friends Chanel, Aqua and Dorinda as they embark on their biggest adventure yet – a role in a Bollywood movie. For the uninitiated, The Cheetah Girls first premiered on Disney Channel in the U.S. in 2003 and was followed by The Cheetah Girls 2 in 2006. Alive with music, dance, colour and Indian culture, the movie celebrates friendship, cultural diversity and encourages tweens to pursue their goals and dreams.

Antoine Villeneuve, Senior Vice President and Managing Director, Walt Disney Television International (India), says, “The Cheetah Girls One World is part of the successful tween-driven, family inclusive franchise.
