A good attempt

Farseen Moosakunhi’s exhibition of paintings on glass which concluded on April 8 was typical of a 12-year-old. The young artist has not tried to attempt something beyond his years; he has retained the child like quality in the works that have been put up on display.

Farseen is a student of Class 8 of Kendriya Vidyalaya, Kadavanthara. The exhibition opened at Durbar Hall Art Gallery on April 5, the opening coincided with the anniversary of the child artist Clint. On display were not only paintings by Farseen but also pottery that he has painted on and done craft work on. Farseen has used oils and acrylic to paint on the glass. The paintings are interesting and definite proof of talent but he has a long way ahead of him in terms of hard work and application.
