Talk by V.S. Ramchandran
Mastermind Dr. V.S. Ramachandran
Department of Culture, Government of Kerala, and Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi organise a talk by V.S. Ramachandran on ‘Neuro aesthetics and art appreciation’ at 10 a.m., on April 15 at AKG Hall.
A native of Chennai, Dr. Ramachandran is one of the leading researchers on visual perception and neurology. The director of Centre for Brain and Cognition and professor with the Department of Psychology and Neurosciences programme in University of California, San Diego, he is an esteemed communicator and was invited by BBC to give Reith lectures for 2003. Ramchandran has won numerous awards and fellowships. He is the authour of best selling books such as ‘Phantoms in the Brain,’ and ‘The Emerging Mind.’ Another book, ‘the Phantom Twin’ will soon be released.
