Enjoy a jungle breakfast

What makes the Singapore Zoo a major draw?

SIMIAN COMPANY As you tuck into a buffet breakfast

The Singapore Zoo is a model of the ‘open zoo’ concept. The animals are kept in spacious, landscaped enclosures separated from visitors by dry or wet moats.

The moats are concealed by vegetation or situated below one’s line of vision. Dangerous animals such as leopards and jaguars are housed in landscaped glass-fronted enclosures.

The Asian elephants at the zoo aren’t particularly shy and don’t mind having an audience when they take their morning bath.

And these gentle giants certainly won’t protest if you feed them a fruit or two before you tuck into your own buffet breakfast at Jungle Flavours. The largest of the five eateries in the zoo, Jungle Flavours offers a self-served range of local delights. Guests can sit indoors or enjoy al fresco dining in the wild.

The main service counter offers Asian/Oriental/Western favourites, salads, sandwiches and desserts.

Otters, pythons, and of course, orangutans will all vie for your attention. After a meal at the zoo, with our friendly ambassadors as your hosts, you will never look at breakfast the same way again!
