Matter of pride

Heritage buildings portray the culture of the city. Every structure reveals the art and architecture of yesteryears. While referring to any city we visualize its monuments and architectural delights first. Old buildings and houses, the Meenakshi Amman Temple and Thirumalai Naicker Mahal , all are of great wonder given their architectural marvel which have withstood the test of time. They add pride to our city. The Government should take steps to preserve these great treasures.
