Down to Earth

Hope Blooms We can still save our planet.

National Geographic Channel’s Earth Day Special, in partnership with CISCO, brings to light the changes that have been brought about to the world by mankind, while emphasising the fact that it is “Time to Change”, to make an attempt to save the Earth from impending doom. On April 22, in “Africa Extreme”,

Wildlife Conservation Society ecologist Michael Fay sets out to survey the biological richness of an entire forest ecosystem under pressure.

Nat Geo takes you on a journey from the flatlands of northern Congo across 1200 miles of dense jungle and two nations to the coast of Gabon.

At 7 p.m. explore Gabon, a magical land with creatures that seem almost mythical in Africa.

“Planet Mechanics”, at 8 p.m., a new series, will see Dick Strawbridge and Jem Stansfield trying to find solutions to environment problems.
