Contest Disney Channel is on the lookout for the next Indian pop star
|
This summer, Disney Channel brings Hannah Montana, the Big Pop Star Dream. Starting May 17, the channel will tour Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Hyderabad to help teens discover the star within them. All you have to do to participate is sing and groove to any Hindi movie song at the audition.
Anushka Manchanda of VIVA, the all-girl band, will be the celebrity judge for the competition and help select one contestant per city. .
The channel will fly the four semi-finalists to Mumbai to give them a complete makeover and record the Hannah Montana title track in Hindi. The vignettes of their performances will be aired on Disney Channel for an audience poll. The winner gets to star in the title montage that plays before each episode of the new season of Hannah Montana! He/she also gets to meet Hannah Montana in the U.S. and also feature on the cover of the Disney Adventures magazine in India.
There’s something for the audience too. One lucky viewer who helps select the winner will accompany him/her to meet Hannah Montana!
Other prizes to be won include guitars, accessories and loads of Hannah merchandise.
