There are a lot of temples, tanks and monuments which speak volumes of the craftsmanship of those days. The great Meenakshi Temple, Mariamman Teppakulam, Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum and Jain caves not only attract people from India but the world over. Nowadays, for renovation and repairs, we are spending huge amount on advanced techniques and manpower. We really wonder how these buildings have come up without modern technology and manpower, when there was no proper transport system at all? It is quite sure that with the blessings of the Almighty and the dedicated service rendered by the people of those times, such tasks were completed. We should preserve these heritage buildings for the welfare of the future generation.
