Greens are good for you

Eating vegetables such as broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, sprouts and greens are an insurance policy for good health, according to researchers from Cancer Care Ontario in Toronto, Canada, who monitored more than 20,000 men aged over 55 for about four years. The test subjects included the above mentioned vegetables in their diets, which are believed to protect the cells in the body from DNA damage and reduce the chances of cancer cell development. The study also established a relationship between vegetable consumption and increased prostate health. So, take in enough quantity of veggies. And ensure that your protein intake is from fat-free sources such as skinned chicken breast, egg whites, tuna, skimmed milk and whey. Calories and nutrients should be tailored to your needs.
