An exhibition of paintings titled ‘Garden of Peace’ by K.A. Roy is on at Museum Auditorium till April 27.
The artist was born at Periyappuram, Koothattukulam, Ernakulam, in 1968. He obtained a diploma in painting and applied art from National Art Academy, Thiruvananthapuram.
He has conducted several exhibitions in the city. ‘Garden of Peace’ is an attempt to find peace amidst the wars and battles today.
According to the artist, man is on a hunt to find himself. In the process, however, he often takes out his frustrations on Nature. Nature is a palette of colours and he feels that these colours can help one find peace.
