From Malayalam cinema, you went to Tamil and now to Kannada. How are you faring there?
I did more than 25 movies in Malayalam, in Tamil about seven or eight and my first movie in Kannada, Gaja ran for more than 100 days. I am comfortable working there.
They say you get more adulation from fans in Karnataka than in Kerala. Is that true?
Well, yes, just as much as from fans in Tamil Nadu. In my next Kannada project, I will be working with Vishnu Vardhan. My role has a dual personality.
Any Malayalam movies?
Kavyam, with Suresh Gopi. Shooting is not over yet.
You are involved in a lot of charitable activities.
I am the ambassador of Janananma, a charitable institution based in Ottappalam. And I don’t take any money, I do their campaigns for free. I want to do something for people. They are doing a project called Gandhigram, that will help a lot of hapless people.
Are you doing dance programmes alongside film roles and studies?
Yes, I just did a dance programme for Vishu at Ottappalam, free for this charitable institution.
Are you doing any course now?
Yes, MBA, first semester. My exams begin tomorrow! Can I go, please? I have a lot to study!
