Voice Your Views: Status in public places

It is a universal practice to honour leaders, thinkers and other notable personalities by installing their statues in a public place. These statues lend grace and a sense of history to the spot where they are placed. No single group can claim exclusive credit for the greatness of these individuals as they all belong to the entire nation or the region. People should know to respect public figures personified in statues. Any damage or disrespect done to the statues only shows how people are immature.
