Statues are a mark of honor for leaders who served the society. But nowadays problems are created over these statues largely due to ignorance of people. Desecration of a statue is a common tactic these days to establish superiority of one group over another. Where is the need for a staute? A great leader will always remain great in public memory. There is no need for publicity and disrupting daily activities of common people. The Government should allocate a separate place for all statues and also render protection to them.
