However, if you would like to see your work in a physical format, and do not know how exactly you have to go about it, help is at hand with the Depot Self Publishing.
Depot, the retail arm of Pantaloon India, selling books, music, gifts and stationery has decided on this strategy “to encourage people to publish their work,” according to Preeti Vyas, Business Head, Depot.
Depot will publish in all genres from fiction and non fiction to cookbooks and coffee table books.
Books can be published in different sizes — 5.5” x 8.5”, 7” x 9” and 8.5” x 11”.
Preeti says the cost will depend on the number of pages, number of copies and the size of the book.
A book of around 300 pages in novel format would cost about Rs. 14,000 for 25 copies.
