Statues of great leaders are erected to respect and remember them. Of late, these statues cause clashes, riots, damage to buses, loss of lives etc on account of being descreted by mischief mongers. Earlier, state owned buses were named after leaders and when there was chaos, these buses were targetted. Later, all the names were dispensed with. These statues can be kept in a secured place and volunteers can keep a vigil as deploying police would add to the burden on exchequer.
