Cultural fiesta

The Malayalam play ‘Chayamukhi,’ which features Mohanlal and Mukesh, will be staged in connection with the five-day Swaralaya Drama and Music Festival at Nishagandhi auditorium at 6.30 p.m. on May 11. The play, which won the Kerala Sangeeta Nataka Akademi Award for the Best Script in 2003, has been directed by Prashanth Narayanan.

The semi-final of the ‘Gandharava Sangeetham’ talent hunt on Kairali TV will be held at the same venue at 6 p.m. on May 10. The festival will conclude on May 12 with a sarod recital by Ustad Amjad Ali Khan and his sons Amaan Ali Khan and Ayaan Ali Khan at Nishagandhi at 6.30 p.m. Contact 2316584 for passes.
