His dreams coming true?

Down to earth Actor Shiney Ahuja

Though he “prefers workouts and yoga” to visiting a salon to keep himself in shape, Bollywood star, Shiney Ahuja, was in town ironically to launch a beauty salon in the upmarket East of Kailash in New Delhi early this week.

“The only time I go to a salon is to have a haircut,” remarked Shiney, whose forthcoming movies include Har Pal and Hijack, one a romantic comedy and the other an action sequence. Har Pal is directed by Jahnu Barua and his co-stars in the movie include Preity Zinta, Isha Koppikar and the veteran Dharmendra.

Speaking about his evolution as a star, Shiney, who has starred in films like Woh Lamhe, Gangster and Khoya Khoya Chand, said hard work is the secret to success. He urged the youth “to dream as much as they can and have the guts to fulfil it”.

The salon, the brainchild of his beautician aunt, Kiran Nayar, is for both men and women. Nayar, known especially for her beauty tips and skin-soothing treatments, has stocked the place full of alluring face packs, creams, oils, toners and lotion. She uses sandalwood and juices generously in her products. All her products are made exclusively for use in her salon and not sold in the market. The salon has trained staff and sophisticated techniques to handle all beauty related jobs.
