SIGNATURE DISH

Grilled Fish

Bayview Point

Taj Fisherman’s Cove

Covelong Beach

There’s fresh fish. Local spices. And the crash and taste of the waves. Given the atmospheric surroundings, it’s hardly surprising that the catch of the day has almost everyone hooked at this restaurant. Choose from a delicious variety of fish caught by the local fishermen from a nearby village: from Red Snapper to Grey Mullet to the East Coast halibut. Then, pick your marinade. They offer Goan chilli, Chettinad roasted spice and the good old home-style red marinade, a tangy concoction of tamarind, curry leaves, chilli, ginger and garlic.

Price: Rs. 500 plus taxes

Bottomline: It’s the fresh catch and the ambience that does it
