Dino Morea says he is a regular guy with a passion for the great outdoors
|
kick start Dino Morea: ’Shah Rukh joins us in a game of football. He is good’
Wide eyes and gasps follow him as he enters sporting a pony tail and a pink tee shirt which highlights his well-sculpted body. Dino Morea is very much the hot model. He exudes confidence as he fields a plethora of questions. Talking of his journey from modelling to acting he says, “While getting the initial break is fairly easy, managing to sustain it is the difficult part. The task is more difficult for an industry outsider.”
Dino seems rather keen to talk of his upcoming movie projects. “I have a couple of projects at hand. One of the films, “Heroes”, which is a multi starrer will be released on August 15. I am also working on ‘Acid factory’, directed by Sanjay Gupta.”
Quizzed about his sporting skills, he says: “I have always liked playing basketball and football. Occasionally, even Shahrukh joins us in a game of football. He is quite good.” Dino also practices Taekwondo regularly and is passionate about action flicks.
Dino says that outside films and modelling, he is just a normal guy who likes adventure sports and wants to make money. Not many know that this model-turned-actor had plans to start a diamond business. “When in college, I wanted to get rich fast and planned a foray into the diamond business,” he laughs.
He denies any product endorsements, but admits that talks are on with some firms. On his production company, Dino says that the firm has produced some TV commercials and will commence pre-production work of a film
Dino loves to travel and states that places like Goa and Mahabaleshwar are his favourite spots for a short getaway. He adds that his dream vacation would be a yacht trip in the Mediterranean. But he maintains a silence on personal questions.
He signs off with a word of caution for aspiring actors, “It is very difficult to break into the top league. You need to slog it out. Signing films just for money may not work out. They must look for films that will help showcase their talent and then, they can choose their films carefully.”
