Want to go to Ladakh? Log on to getoffurass.com is organising trips to Ladakh. The trips begin with an overland journey (by jeep) on August 28 from Delhi. It is a 15-day trip, which takes you through Manali and into the high altitude deserts of Ladak h. On the way you will also get to “explore many lakes, monasteries, settlements, towns, culture and colours of Ladakh,” say the organisers. Maximum group size will be 12 and a minimum of five people per trip.

On September 13 there will be a walkabout at the Markha Valley. This eight-day trail trip takes you into the High altitude Himalayan national park. This walk takes one through fascination landscapes, high altitude with great chances of sighting wildlife. It is with an up-close encounter with Ladakhi people and culture in isolated mountainous terrains.
