Fight that acne!

Apart from the blistering heat, the summer months also play host to a number of skin problems, right from acne to sunburns to blemishes. This becomes a major area of concern for many, especially teenagers.

A natural cleansing alternative to these problems is sandalwood oil, with its anti-depressant, anti-pyretic, anti-bacterial and cooling properties.

Coming with these properties now is Sandalwood Oil, produced by Floriana (Lambency) Group, claimed to be the world’s largest producer of sandalwood oil. Sandalwood is an ancient Indian Ayurvedic remedy used for skin disorders and complaints. It is known for its calming effect and gives a cool respite in the hot summer months.

Mixed with a moisturiser, it balances out the skin, giving it an even tone.

It also relieves one of itching and irritation problems which become a norm in this harsh weather. A few drops of sandalwood oil added to the face pack impart a fresh glow to the skin.

According to a company note, the Sandalwood Oil is particularly good for acne, chapped hands, dry cracked feet, dry skin, itchy skin, nail problems, razor bumps, skin rashes, splitting or torn cuticles, stretch marks, wrinkles etc.

The oil is extremely thick with a sweet, woody and fruity aroma, which is pungently balsamic.
