Lending a helping hand


Nearly 30 children with heart ailments and their parents had gathered at the residence of actor-director and choreographer, Raghava Lawrence.

Each of these children requires heart surgery costing nearly a lakh of rupees. On the occasion of the CD release of his new film “Pandi” last week, Lawrence requested for financial help for these children. Producer Nemi Chand Jabak (who made “Nan Avanillai” and “Anjadhae”) gave a lakh of rupees at the event. Lawrence appealed to the film fraternity and the public to pitch in with generous contributions. He also requested the corporate sector to fund some of these surgeries.
