Food from Nanjil Nadu
A chance for some unusual fare at the Nanjil Nadu Food Festival at Hotel Blue Star. A range of vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare awaits the food buff. Some of them include the popular Vimalakka Mutton Biriyani, Iruttu Kadai Halwa, Madurai Jigar Thanda , Karupatti Halwa and plenty more. The cuisine hails from the Madurai and Kanyakumari region.
Lunch and dinner buffets come with two price tags. The one for Rs 200 per head includes 11 vegetarian and seven non-vegetarian dishes as well as seven varieties of desserts. The Rs 140 per head buffet includes eight vegetarian dishes, four non-vegetarian ones and two desserts.

Vegetable decoration
This weekend bring four white papers, colours pens and your favourite vegetable (make sure it is a hard one) and take some interesting carvings back home with you. It is a session on vegetable decoration this weekend at Cha Bar. Be there on Saturday, May 17 between 3 p.m and 5 p.m for some veggie excitement.
