Rustic Rusks

The GourMET shop at The Metropolitan Hotel now gives you an extra flavour to team up with your cuppa of tea. Not those routine cookies, but a variety of rustic rusks or twice baked bread in different flavours such as blueberry, aniseed, truity fruity, milk and many more. Open till June 10 from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Price Rs.20 to 50.

Ice cream Seductions

You can savour some scrumptious varieties of ice creams at Blooms and Tea Lounge at Hotel InterContinental Eros, Nehru Place, all this month. It offers a wide assortment of ice creams to keep you cool all through out. Cherish a scoop of Mango Trilogy, Manhattan Mania, Shade of Black and White and Nutcracker, to name a few. Open throughout this month.

The Shalom Experience

At the Shalom at D-4,Vasant Vihar, enjoy the Mediterranean repertoire ranging from Lebanese to Spanish, Moroccan, modern Arabic and Turkish delights. You can savour the signature specials – Non-Veg. and Veg. mezze Platters, chicken terrian, Dubai duck, the Hummus and more – from the Shalom menu. Raise a toast with the Trademark Shalom drinks like the watermelon capriossika, And there is the traditional shalom music to give you company.

Fruity Concoctions

To beat the scorching heat, this summer Barista presents natural fruity concoctions, yogurt smoothies, freshly brewed iced teas and international sandwiches. Besides, super sized variants of all your favourite coffees like iced caffe mocha grande, Barrista frappe grande could also prove to be thirst busters. Barista has also launched a range of 100 per cent pro biotic yogurt smoothies, icy chillers in mango and tropical flavours to add to the treat.

Peking Duck

Jade, the Chinese restaurant at The Claridges, brings the famous Peking duck. At the ‘Peking Duck Festival’ that is on till the month end, Jade brings in a-la-carte selection of Peking duck specialities right from soups and appetisers to main course. The famed Chinese Peking Duck owes its origin to the kitchens of the Ming dynasty emperors. Timings 7.30 p.m. to 11.45 p.m. Average meal for two: Rs.2500 plus taxes.

Hot Kababs

Now beat the heat with unlimited beer and kababs every day at The Axis, World Wine Cuisine, The Galaxy Hotel, Gurgaon. Open from Monday to Saturday from 12 noon to 6 p.m. Price Rs.625 plus taxes.

French Delights

Café De Paris, the French food restaurant at N Block, Greater Kailash-I, offers choicest French delicacies and wines through this whole month. Some of the exotic dishes on offer are chicken morel, steak of river sole, duck breast, brown rice wi th morel mushroom sauce, grilled jumbo prawns, chocolate fondant, cream brule, etc. A meal for two is priced at Rs.1500.

Flavours of Delhi

Cafe Uno, the 24-hour lifestyle restaurant at hotel Shangri-La, now brings alive the colours and vibrancy of Delhi’s favourite cuisines on a platter, where there is a perfect balance of different flavours. Enjoy the favourite street food of Delhi like aloo tikki chaats, chhole bhature, chuski, kulfi and many more varieties here. Open from Saturday 12 noon to 3 p.m. Price Rs.1400 plus taxes per person.
