Realising the problems of water and electricity, Radio Mirchi 98.3 FM helped Delhities in distress. Radio Mirchi initiated Shielding May Mayhem — an initiative to help Delhities in this time of crisis.

With acute shortages, people are deprived of water for drinking and domestic purposes. The price of water tankers also adds to peoples’ troubles. RJs invited listeners to share their water woes and register their locations for help. Okhla and Khanpur were randomly selected and were provided exclusive water tankers on behalf of Radio Mirchi.

Srinivasa Shenoy, Cluster Head, Radio Mirchi, said, “Radio Mirchi connects to its listeners not only in terms of music and programming content but also for its proactive approach in finding solutions to the problems prevalent in Delhi.”
