VOICE YOUR VIEWS -- DRINKING AND SMOKING IN FILMS

Ban must

Our country has a large population of illiterates, uneducated and uninformed people, who easily believe what they see in films. They want to follow their favourite film stars in all respects. It is advisable to ban smoking and drinking in films. Film makers can be encouraged by giving cash awards and prizes to films in which smoking and drinking are not shown. Our government has succeeded in avoiding film titles other than in Tamil, by rewarding films with Tamil titles.
